Darrell Reynolds

In 1994 I was in a car accident that left me in a coma for several weeks. That’s when it first hit me that I had a drug problem. I started Addiction Counselor USA back in 2001, the name then was COACH4ME, as a way to help other addicts and to give back to the paramedic who saved my life after my accident in 1994 at 4:00AM.

My name is Darrell Reynolds. I am a Certified Masters Addiction Counselor (CMAC), and Certified Addiction Counselor II (CACII), and I have my MA in Psychology from Ashford University. I am the CEO and founder of Addiction Counselor USA

I have over 25 years of experience working with clients through their detox, treatment, and sobriety from alcohol and/or drugs. During this time I have done countless individual sessions as well as lead group therapy for my clients.

In addition to private and group counseling, I am certified to teach the 12 Core Functions of Alcohol and Drug Counseling as well as the other classes necessary to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Together with my team, we teach these classes in three locations in Georgia – Calhoun, Rome, and Gainesville – and will soon be offering online courses.

Additional classes I offer for CEU’s are Ethics, Telemental Health, Trauma Informed Care, HIV/AIDS, and Motivational Enhancement Therapy.

I played college football at the University of West Georgia, graduated from Floyd College and Kennesaw State University, and received Masters of Art at Ashford University.
